Multiplying Decimals

Decimals is represented by a point which is termed as decimal point. Multiplying decimals is one of the operations of decimals. Multiplying decimals involve the following steps:

Step 1: First perform normal multiplication
Step 2: Count the decimals from right
Step 3: Put the decimal point against the count.

Example: 2.2 * 3.3 = 7.26
